Batuka is a five piece groove rock band out of Antigonish Nova Scotia, which formed in 2000. These hard working boys have recently finished their debut CD titled "How Ya Feelin Tonight?", which is a high energy set of songs including "Alright", "Diesel", "Dr. Smooth"and tons more that are sure to get your hips in motion.

      The band has been seen pumpin out the tunes at Evolve II and III which also hosted the stylings of nationally and internationally acclaimed artists such as the Burt Neilson Band, Grand Theft Bus, Bullfrog with Kid Koala, The Slip and Drive By Leslie. Batuka also packs them in at Chuggles in Antigonish and is starting to head the metro area to show people thier unique mix of styles. Playing various live shows over the years(many of these with "The Trews") the guys have melded together a tight set that is sure to blow you away.

      Batuka has received the admiration of  people of all ages and are truly a class act. Be sure to watch out for these guys on the canadian scene and be ready to dance.
